Annual General Meeting 2016

St. Raphael’s Garda Credit Union Limited is commencing the process of selecting suitable candidates for nomination to the Board of Directors (four vacancies) and Board Oversight Committee (one vacancy) at this year’s Annual General Meeting which will take place in December 2016.

The role of Directors and Board Oversight Committee members are as set out in the Credit Union Act 1997 (as amended).

Under regulatory requirements, as set out by the Central Bank, all candidates must meet minimum fitness and probity standards.  These standards apply to all Directors and Board Oversight Committee Members.  They can be accessed by clicking here. https://www.centralbank.ie/regulation/processes/fandp/creditunions/Pages/default.aspx

Applications from suitable candidates are now invited from interested members of St. Raphael’s Garda Credit Union. We are particularly interested in applicants that have a background in Finance and/or Financial Services with specific experience in the areas of Credit,. Market (Investment), Operational Risk and Information Technology (I.T.).

Members applying for any of these positions should be aware that they are voluntary and unpaid.

Nomination packs can be obtained from the office of St. Raphael’s Garda Credit Union, 1 – 2 Fox & Geese, Naas Road, Dublin 22 or by email to Nomination.Committee@straphaelscu.ie quoting your member number.

Closing date for submission of completed nomination packs is Friday 30th September 2016 at 4.30pm.
